Work in Action

This area gives you a look at different freelance projects I have worked on, and other examples of my work in action in various forms.

Litigator's Chew Toy

Litigator's Chew Toy

I was recently informed one of my illustrations over on iStock is featured prominently on the report "How Your Contracts Turn Your Business Into a Litigator's Chew Toy." The illustration used was my "Government Dog Agents" image which is still available over in my iStock portfolio.

CampDoc Follow-up

Camp Doc Standup 1

Several months ago for a freelance job, I designed a doctor character for a group called CampDoc. I have seen the image in action on their website; but this is the first time I have seen the design in action in other ways they have used it. Including a 6 foot tall stand-up of the doctor. It is really fun for me to see my design for them out in the world, and some of the different ways it is being used.

Tomlinson's - Freelance

A couple months back I created a custom design for a pet supply chain down in Austin, TX called Tomlinson's. Here you can see the super hero pets that I created for their store. I didn't realize they were going to be as large of a part in the final design you see above; but I think they look great. And modesty is my best feature.

RedBubble Advertising

RedBubble Site Image

I was just informed my "Don't You Want a Hug!" creepy bear design was selected to be used as one of main site images on the visitor landing page starting September 19th... then a few second later someone purchased one of the the shirts over on the site. I guess advertising really does pay.

Coaching Wizard - Freelance

Coaching Wizard Icon

A few weeks back I was asked to create a character for a new iPhone application called Coaching Wizard. I was just informed the application is now available over in the Apple store. I was tasked to create the wizard you see holding the soccer ball in the icon and in the application itself. If you would like to read more about what the application can do, make sure you check out the official web for the product.

Surreality Watch

I was just informed my "Will Kill For Coffee" Angry Bunny poster was featured over on the Surreality Watch blog. It's always nice to see when other people appreciate your work; and I am grateful they did so and let me know about it.

Looks like the website has purchased a few of my images, and have been using them over on their site. Including the image you see above used in their article on Passover. The original image in this case was my "Boy in Love" image.

The Man Cave Forum

The Man Cave Forum

So my latest freelance job, for The Man Cave Forum which I finished up the other day, is now visible over on their web site. For them I created the three cavemen you see above and on their site, and each one is based one the hosts of the pod-casts.

Hometown Surprise

Kewanee Motor Lodge   Starlight Drive-In

So I was driving to my home town and noticed something that looked very familiar on one of the billboards heading into town. The Kewanee Motor Lodge is using my Starlight Drive-In Theater illustration as part of their marketing campaign. If you look closely at the billboard you can see how they used every single element of my illustration in one way or another in the the layout of their ad.

One of my freelance jobs that I worked on over the summer is up and running. I created the main character for the CampDoc website/service. The provide a service to store the medical records for kids who attend camps in a centralized spot, so if something where to happen to them while they were away, the local physician could access their records quickly and easily. Hence the doctor in camping or hiking gear in the character.
