Simple Butter Cream Icing

If you want to make a simple icing to add to your bread loaf.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • ½ Cup Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Milk

Equipment

  • Hand Mixer
  • Mixing Bowl

Method
 

  1. Soften the butter until you are able to turn it into almost a creamy paste
  2. Add the milk and mix well
  3. Add the two cups of powdered sugar into a small mixing bowl and whip in the butter and milk for 1 – 3 minutes
  4. If the icing appears too dry add some a bit more milk

Notes

Whip until you have a very rich butter cream icing. Let the bread cool for at least 10 minutes before you apply the icing
