My latest design "Beaver Hunter" is available on various items over in my Zazzle store. This little guy is all ready to go hunting, or maybe it's just a little innuendo with a possible different meaning.
My little "Lame Duck" illustration has shown up on the Promise of America website, the Dave Manuel website, Sherry Glasser's website, Grouchy Days website and a dozen or so other places. At least most of them actually purchased it. I am in no way responsible for the content on any of these websites. So if you do not agree with them, let them know, not me. *laughter*
Here is the finished design of the butcher block, incorporating the top which was shown in my previous project posting. Above you can see the 140 pounds of blood, sweat, and tears... and lumber which has finally ended up in my kitchen.
The latest project I'm working on is only about 1/3 of the way done, but I figured it was worth showing the process it took to get to where I am. Above you can see a small portion of the twenty-four 1" x 2" x 96" slats of wood that I started with.
When you do wood working projects, no matter who you are, you always end up with either a pile or a container of scrap odds and ends pieces of wood. The question is what do you do with them? Some go to the burn pile, some are destined for something better.
